Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 August 2026

Fallow is a self control tool that runs entirely on your device. These terms cover what you can expect from it, how the subscription and the Lifetime Unlock work, and the limits of what is promised.

Who these terms are between

Fallow is published by Strade SMIP SRL, a company established in Romania, referred to below as "we" or "the developer". These terms are an agreement between you and us. Apple is not a party to them.

By downloading or using Fallow you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non transferable licence to use Fallow on Apple branded devices that you own or control. Your use is also governed by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. This licence does not sell you the app or any of its underlying rights.

What Fallow does, and what it does not promise

Fallow uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks to shield the apps you select outside a daily free window that you set. It is a tool that helps you keep a decision you already made.

  • It is not a medical device, a clinical treatment, or a substitute for professional help with compulsive behaviour or addiction.
  • It is not a security or supervision product. It is designed for the person using the device, not for controlling someone else's.
  • It depends on Apple's frameworks and on your device settings. We cannot guarantee that every app is blocked in every circumstance, or that the app is free of faults.
  • You keep control of your own device throughout. Nothing in Fallow prevents you from removing it.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell, rent or redistribute Fallow. Do not reverse engineer, decompile or modify it, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction. Do not use it to interfere with anyone else's device.

Subscription, free trial and Lifetime Unlock

Fallow offers two paid options. The exact price is shown in the app and on the App Store listing, in your local currency, before you confirm anything.

  • Yearly subscription. An auto renewable subscription billed once a year. It opens with a one week free trial for eligible new subscribers.
  • Lifetime Unlock. A one time purchase. It does not renew and is not a subscription.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each year unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. If you buy a subscription before a free trial finishes, the unused part of the trial is forfeited.

All payments are handled by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.

Cancelling and refunds

You manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings, not in Fallow. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription on its own.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policy. The developer cannot cancel a subscription or issue a refund on your behalf, so please raise those with Apple directly. Where consumer law in your country gives you additional cancellation or refund rights, those rights still apply and nothing here removes them.

Price and feature changes

We may change the price of the subscription or what the paid tiers include. Changes to a subscription price take effect from a following billing period, and Apple notifies you in advance so you can decide whether to continue. The Lifetime Unlock, once bought, is not charged again.

Apple's role in this

These terms are between you and the developer only. Apple is not responsible for Fallow or its content. Specifically:

  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Fallow. Support questions go to the developer, at the address below.
  • If Fallow fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation of any kind for Fallow.
  • The developer, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claim that Fallow fails to conform to a legal requirement, or any claim under product liability, consumer protection or privacy law.
  • The developer, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any claim that Fallow infringes someone's intellectual property rights.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms, and Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

Legal compliance

By using Fallow you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as a terrorist supporting country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

No warranty

Fallow is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for any particular purpose you have in mind.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, Fallow. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Privacy

Fallow collects no data. What the app stores, and where, is set out in the Fallow Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version is published here and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use Fallow after that means you accept the new version. The current version took effect on 4 August 2026.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections under the law of the country you live in.
